No worries. With just a few simple steps and about 10 minutes, anyone can quickly download photos from Costco's website in high-quality PNG format! Just follow these easy steps described below:

Go to the Costco website and sign up for their photo printing service. Once you have signed up for the service, go to the top-right corner of their home page and click on it. Click on "Photo Center" in the drop-down menu. This will take you to a page.

In the upper-right of that page, click on "New customer login." This takes you to a page that asks for some information. Fill in your information, then click on "Continue." This takes you to another part of the website, with five pictures to choose from.

Choose a photo you would like to print and then click on "Continue." This takes you back to the previous page and shows you your photo. Download the zip file onto your computer and then open the zip file. Double-click on the "Costco-Photo-X.zip" file to reveal three files: CostcoPhoto_X01.jpg, CostcoPhoto_X02.jpg", and "CostcoPhoto_X03.jpg". Here "X" is for the number of photos you ordered. Rename your photos as desired — for example, "CostcoPhoto_1.jpg."

Double-click on the renamed file to automatically open it in an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop or Gimp (or any other program that opens PNG files). Save the edited version of your photo! It is now yours to keep! Repeat steps 1 through 11 for each photo you want to download.

Did Costco Stop Taking Passport Photos?

You have never really had a difficult time filling out your passport application before. But did you know that Costco is no longer taking pictures for this? This is the latest in a string of changes including discontinuing photo printing and stamping passports.

The company discontinued printing passports. This is something that has been happening over the last year. There used to be multiple locations where a customer could get their passport photo taken and then pay to get it printed. Even though this was one of their more popular services, it was being done for one of the least expensive fees.

While the passport stamping service has already been discontinued, Costco is no longer taking photos. However, there are many other alternative places where they can be done. To be able to fly internationally without any issues, it’s important to get a passport photo taken and printed ahead of time.

Alternatives To Try For Passport Photos

In light of the recent mandate for U.S. passport photos, it is important to know where to get a quality photo taken before you head off on your summer vacation or other work. Some people may be aware that Costco has a service for passport photos.

However, this may not be available globally or in your state. So, we have got some of our favorite alternative photo departments for you to try around in the USA.

Walgreens

Walgreens is a pharmacy chain all over the country, and as such, passport photos are available at a majority of their locations. With photo departments in most stores, photos can be taken and printed on the same day.

Walgreens charges $13 per photo session, which includes five passport-quality photos, taken by a professional photographer trained to capture photos for passports. Each additional five passport-quality photos cost $4 each.

Walmart

Walmart photo centers are also available in a majority of stores across the United States. Those who purchase their passport photo session at Walmart will receive a passport photo in the mail within three weeks, according to its website.

Walmart Photo offers passport photos as well as others in sizes 4"x6", 5"x7", and 8"x10". They also have a wide selection of frames and printing options available to their customers.

CVS

CVS photo centers are also available at a majority of stores throughout the country. As with Walgreens, passport photos are taken by professional photographers and can be printed immediately following the photo session.

Five passport-quality photos cost $13, while an additional five photos cost $4 each. CVS offers passport photos as well as several other sizes including 4"x6", 5"x7", and 8"x10". They also have a wide selection of frames and printing options available to their customers.

Kinkos

Kinkos is an office supply chain all around the country. As such, they have several locations that include passport photo services. Prices vary depending on your location and whether or not you require five photos or more than five photos. Prices can range from $9.99 to $11.99 per photo, which includes three passport-quality photos.

Family Dollar

For those living in the United States, you might have a Family Dollar in your town. They offer passport photos for $5 a sheet (as well as other photo services like prints and developing). You can also find them at Lens & Shutter.com as well as other photo stores online and in stores in the United States.

Costco is a convenience store specializing in bulk items, typically at discount prices. The company has been doing business since 1976, and it has been growing steadily over the years.

Costco offers members discount prices on selected goods in bulk quantities. But if asked- does Costco take passport photos the answer would be only in selective locations. So, I recommend trying other alternatives for passport photos where Costco does not offer the services. Thanks a lot for reading till the end and have a nice day!
